KRI began as a conversation between generations.
KRI는 세대와 세대 사이의 대화에서 시작되었습니다.
Korea Root Initiative was founded in Canada to answer a simple question: how do we make sure Korean heritage is not only remembered, but lived — by families who arrived a generation ago and by young people who are shaping what comes next.
KRI는 하나의 질문에서 시작되었습니다. 한 세대 전에 이 땅에 도착한 가족과 지금의 청년 세대가 함께 한국의 문화를 기억할 뿐 아니라 살아가도록 어떻게 이어갈 수 있을까.
We work at the intersection of performance, documentation, and community — treating culture as a practice, not a museum piece. Every project we undertake is designed to be shared, taught, and returned to the community.
